Rebecca Biggar
LISW
Rebecca Biggar is a Licensed Independent Social Worker. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Colgate University and a Master of Social Work degree from Colorado State University. Rebecca has worked with children, adolescents, and adults for over 12 years in school and community settings providing social-emotional interventions and mental health counseling.
Rebecca is passionate about creating a safe and supportive space to allow children and adults to process, learn, grow, and find meaning and connection in their daily lives. Using evidence-based practices of cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness tools, and psychoeducation, Rebecca’s intention is to build a strong therapeutic relationship grounded in meeting an individual where they are at and collaborating on their goals. Having over a decade of experience, Rebecca is skilled at supporting children, adolescents, and adults with managing anxiety, depression, executive functioning issues, ADHD, behavioral and social issues. When working with youth therapeutically, she believes that supporting and coaching parents alongside the child or adolescent can be critical in holistic support.
On a personal note, Rebecca has three children. She loves spending time outdoors, playing tennis and paddle, and hanging on the side lines of her kids’ activities and sports. She enjoys practicing yoga, walking, reading and traveling to Colorado to spend time with family.
